Jean Yves Le Corre, Msc, Sloan Fellow
Executive Director, InterauditAsia

Jean-Yves has 11 years of international corporate experience in several multinational companies (Lafarge, Areva Group, Heineken B.V, Peat Marwick) and 5 years experience in coaching and training in Asia

Jean-Yves relocated to Shanghai China in October 2005 after graduating from London Business School (U.K) and started to deliver training and coaching sessions in China for large multinationals using his previous experience in France being a facilitator for internal audit workshops at the Institute of Internal Control and Auditing (Ifaci) in Paris. In 2006 Jean Yves set up his own consultancy named InterauditAsia in Hong Kong working closely with several organizations across Asia to offer courses on internal audit, performance management and cross-cultural management. Organisations include (but not only): Demos Group, The Hong Kong Management Association, National University of Singapore (NUS extension), CIPD ACCA accredited providers, and professional bodies (IIA Singapore). Since 2006 Jean-Yves has delivered +75 training sessions and trained + 600 executives and middle managers to modern management practices in Asia with a constant focus to adapt practices and teaching techniques to various cultural contexts and organisations

Jean Yves diversified his activities into related areas such as performing research studies (he is the author of a research study published by Transparency International) and consulting projects (as partner with Synergy Consulting Cpa in Beijing) in addition to his main activities of coaching and training. Jean Yves developed InterauditAsia Management Institute as an independent organization to support effective-based training solutions for cross-cultural internal auditing including needs analysis tools, content development and reference workbooks. Jean Yves has designed +17 courses and prepares the publication of his next book entitled “Cross cultural practice of internal auditing in Asia’ in December 2010.

Jean Yves actively promotes the concept of “localisation” in management training arguing that western management practices and learning techniques can not be fully replicated in Asia due to significant cultural gaps, which reflect in behaviors, management styles and social values of organisations. The main objective of InterauditAsia is to facilitate this process for localisation using research insights, as well as experimental feedback from trainees and real-based case stories in Asia.

Jean Yves graduated from ESCP Europe, Specialised Master in Auditing, and from the University of London (Msc in Management). He is a sloan Fellow from London Business School (2005) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors
